6th October 2020 (1:30pm - 4:00pm)

Further to a meeting with some committee members and the General Manager at Yeovilton as a Trial for both Yeovilton and AWRA it has been arranged to have a BINGO

AFTERNOON in the Swordfish Suite. Any members who wish to particapate MUST CONTACT CAROL BARGE by mobile phone number 07511 779847 as the numbers are limited and a list of names must be given to Yeovilton prior to the 6th October.

If you have your name down and you are unable to attend please let Carol know as there is a waiting list

These are the guidance procedures that Yeovilton have to work by.

The government guidance changes on 1st October and allows for venues to host events once more with social distancing and capacity control measure in place. The new ‘one metre plus’ distancing rule refers capacity of one person  for every 10m sq. in a particular building. The Museum can proceed on this basis for a maximum capacity of 40 guests (in addition to 5 AWRA facilitators), barring any increase in restrictions from central government.

We need to ensure the following restrictions are in place: -
 ·         40 capacity for participants. Full guest list confirmed in advance to the Museum.
 ·         Museum will assist with managing and orientating arrivals. Those not booked in will be denied entry.
 ·         Tables are for a maximum of 4 persons or guests from two households.
 ·         FAAM will arrange a one way system and sanitisation stands in Swordfish Centre.
 ·         All guests are to sanitise hands upon arrival and at each table.
 ·         Also, Masks do not need to be worn unless desired by the individual.
Although a smaller event, this could represent a massive step in the right direction for the future and builds confidence amongst members that we can eventually evolve for a more normal return.
The Museum will operate basic Tea / Coffee with Biscuits for £1 a serving.
