Wheathill Ramble

20th January 2026 (9:30am - 2:00pm)
Malcolm Gulliver and David Speed are organising the first ramble of
2026 around the Wheathill Golf Club TA117HG

Approx 5 miles

We will meet at 9:30am in the Car Park of the Golf Club which is just off
the B3153 to the east of the Lyford on Fosse traffic lights.

Please go into the clubhouse and pay for your food at the bar.
Coffees and breakfastsare available if anyone is interested.

Lunch will be a carvery priced at £16.95. The vegetarian option is a brie
and cranberry wellington. A vegan option is available. A desert priced at
£5 is available, Desert choices will be made known nearer the day

The walk will leave at 9:45am and is mostly on quiet roads between the
Cary and Brue rivers. The exact route will be determined nearer the date
after consideration of the ground conditions. There will be no significant
hills

The plan is to return by 12.30pm for lunch in the clubhouse.at 1pm.
You are very welcome to use the changing rooms of the club if the
weather is unkind.
